Are there any luggage restrictions?

Yes,as follows.


■Item we can accept in the trunk

・Each passenger may bring one item of luggage with a total of three sides within 120 cm and weighing up to 10 kg.

・We cannot accept luggage that exceeds these limits, so please make your own arrangements in advance, such as sending it separately.


■Item we cannot accept for storage

・Musical instruments / Bicycle (including folding bikes and those in bicycle travel bags) / Large items such as boards / Items packed in cardboard boxes / Fragile items / Hazardous materials / Valuables / Pets

・We do not accept these explicitly listed items for storage regardless of size. They also cannot be brought onboard the bus. (Except valuables)

・For all luggage, if you bring items that exceed our regulations or conditions and cannot make arrangements to ship them yourself, we may refuse boarding and the usual cancellation fees will apply.

・Portable batteries must be carried and kept with you on board.


■Special Luggage Rules for Specific Services

●JX851 / JX852 - Departing from and arriving at Zao Onsen

・In addition to luggage that can be checked in the trunk, we can accept one set of skis or a snowboard (up to 230 cm in length) per person.

●Snow Liner - SL○○ Service

・In addition to regular luggage, we can accept one set of skis or a snowboard (up to 230 cm in length) per person.

・Please note that trunk space is limited. If a passenger brings many regular luggage items, we may not be able to accept them. We kindly ask you to keep your luggage to a minimum.


■Carry-on luggage

・Each passenger may bring one item of carry-on luggage that fits in the overhead compartment.

・Due to limited storage space, we may refuse items that cannot be properly managed on board.

・In addition, bear spray and similar items are strictly prohibited on the bus.


■Other luggage

・Wheelchairs: Only foldable wheelchairs can be checked in the trunk (advance reservation required).

・Strollers: Only foldable strollers can be checked in the trunk (advance reservation required).

※Wheelchairs and strollers require advance reservation.

・For safety and to prevent theft or damage, they cannot be taken out during stops along the route.

・We may refuse to accept any items that the crew considers to be a nuisance or inconvenience to other passengers.


■Luggage damage, loss, or theft

・Please note that we are not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of luggage.


■Notes of caution

・Drivers can only assist in Japanese and cannot provide help in other languages for any explanations, including the conditions mentioned above.
